  • The American Revolution Community Engagement Grants

    WETA is offering community engagement grants of up to $35,000 in conjunction with the Ken Burns series The American Revolution. Deadline: January 31, 2025.

  • Dollar General Adult, Family and Summer Literacy Grants

    The Dollar General Foundation will provide grants of up to $10,000 to nonprofits located within 15 miles of a Dollar General store for direct services to adults with literacy needs. Deadline: February 6, 2025.

  • Landmarks of American History and Culture: Workshops for School Teachers

    This NEH grant program supports virtual or in-place workshops for teachers. Stations may partner with a school, library, museum or other host organization for a grant of up to $190,000. Deadline: February 12, 2025 (optional drat due January 6, 2025).

  • Computer Science for All

    This NSF program will make awards of up to $2 million to projects that provide students with access to computer science education at the preK-12 level. Deadline: February 12, 2025.

  • Grants for Arts Projects

    The NEA Grants for Arts Projects program supports creation, engagement, learning and livability in communities through grants ranging from $10,000 to $100,000. (1-1 match required). The 2024 competition has closed. There are two rounds of competition in 2025, with deadlines in February and July.

  • Caregiving Engagement Grants

    WETA is offering $10,000 community engagement, teacher training and production grants in conjunction with the upcoming two-hour documentary Caregiving. Deadline: February 19, 2025.

  • American Graduate: Jobs Explained 2.0

    With CPB funding, WNET opens the second round of American Jobs Explained. Ten television stations will be chosen to join this innovative program connecting young people to new career pathways through social media videos. Stations receive support in media production and fundraising, along with a $90,000 grant. Deadline: February 21, 2025.

  • The American Revolution Initiative (PBS)

    Up to $45,000 is available for station grants from PBS LearningMedia. Stations may seek funding to create classroom content for PBS LearningMedia, host in-person teacher learning events, or both. The target audience for content and activities created from the education grants are teachers of grades 3-12, especially those teaching U.S. history, civics and English language arts. Deadline: February 28, 2025.

  • NEA Research Labs

    NEA will award cooperative agreements of up to $300,000 with a 1-1 match. Awards support research that investigates the value and/or impact of the arts, either as individual components of the U.S. arts ecology or as they interact with each other and/or with other domains of American life. This would be a good opportunity to discuss with university partners. Deadline: March 24, 2025

  • Research Grants in the Arts

    The NEA will award grants ranging $20,000 - $100,000 for projects that address priorities in their current research agenda. A 1-1 non-federal match is required. Deadline: March 24, 2025
