Twanna Clark is the Director, Legal Services and Board Relations. In this role, she serves as liaison to the APTS Board of Directors and provides paralegal support for APTS’s legal, regulatory, governance and corporate affairs work, in collaboration with the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. She coordinates board and committee meetings, as well as other legal and corporate governance meetings and webinars. She drafts, reviews and finalizes contracts, board materials, corporate resolutions, agendas and minutes, and other legal and corporate documents. Clark also facilitates the board elections process, and communicates with member stations, public broadcasting industry representatives and federal agencies and offices.

Prior to joining APTS, Clark served for 12 years as Manager, Board Relations at National Public Radio (NPR) where she supported the work of NPR’s Board of Directors and committees. She also facilitated the elections of the board and Public Radio Satellite System appointees to the board. Clark has a background in board and governance work with the Council for Exceptional Children and Whitman-Walker Clinic.

Clark received her B.A. in Speech Communication from George Mason University.
